Cappuccino in Japan

After an adventurous 10 days walk in Japan there is a need for a cup of coffee. Japanese cuisine is wonderful but coffee is not a part of it. But all of a sudden near a main road of a small village there is a shop where some coffee might be on a menu. And it was. It was served in beautiful big ceramic cups and we took the largest version. A chair just outside the shop was ideal to sit down and enjoy the landscape. A cappuccino in Japan. Not easy to find but it is out there. If you really look for it.

I made a photo of this small moment of joy and made a oil painting on board once we got home.
