Oman

A visit to Oman requires careful planning due to the warm weather. Simply strolling around and exploring a city can be challenging. Consequently, one often finds oneself adopting the role of an average tourist, participating in guided tours and excursions. (While being taken to an oasis may be less adventurous than tirelessly searching for one, it proves to be a practical choice.)

Although it has been several years since my visit to Muscat, it is only recently that I completed the third and final painting inspired by this Middle Eastern country. Oman offers abundant sources of inspiration, starting with its friendly people, fantastic cuisine, and stunning seascape. Among the notable highlights, the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque left a lasting impression on me. This particular painting draws inspiration from the beautiful and serene garden surrounding the Mosque.
