A friend saw a painting in a gallery and took a photo of it with her iPhone, intending to return later to buy it. However, when she went back the next day, the painting was gone. She asked me to recreate it from the photo. Rather than making an exact copy, I decided to ‘improve’ upon it. 🙂 I wish I could find the original artist to get his/her opinion on my version. The style isn’t really my own, but I had fun working on it. Now, I just hope my friend likes this version; otherwise, I’ll have to repaint this rather large piece.
