Balthazar is growing up fast. He’s very different from Archibald, and I really like that. I never wanted another version of Archie. Like all dogs, Archie was one of a kind, and I want to keep it that way. Sometimes I still find myself comparing them. Balthazar seems calmer and a bit clumsy, more affectionate, and has a playful, stubborn way of testing me. Maybe that is how Vizslas are. But they do share one thing — Balthazar has a beard too.
